Dr. John Spitalieri is a board-certified neurosurgeon. He specializes in the surgical treatment of all areas of the spine including decompression, fusion, minimally invasive spine surgery, artificial disc replacement, image/computer navigation, and percutaneous treatments. A graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Spitalieri pursued a residency in neurosurgery at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, California. This was followed by a fellowship in neurosurgery at Cooper Hospital in Camden, New Jersey and a fellowship in pediatric spine surgery at Shriners Hospital in Philadelphia. An expert in minimally invasive procedures, he is board-certified in neurological surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS). In honor of his clinical expertise, Dr. Spitalieri has been the recipient of Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2014, 2017, 2018), Patients’ Choice Award (2017, 2018), and On-Time Doctor Award (2017, 2018).
